  • 2 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (sifted)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups assorted chocolate candy (chopped into small pieces)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a heat-proof bowl and allow it to cool for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine cooled butter with both sugars and whisk until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture without overmixing.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped candy and mini chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake cookies for about 13-14 minutes until golden at the edges.
