  • 13 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
  • 67 mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (divided)
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, rosemary, basil)
  • 1 clove garlic (grated)
  • Marinara or pesto (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut dough into about 30 equal squares and each mozzarella stick into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Place one piece of mozzarella in the center of each square; roll up into balls.
  4. Arrange on the baking sheet in a tree shape and brush lightly with an egg wash mixture of beaten egg and water.
  5. Bake for 16-18 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Mix melted butter with half of the parmesan and herbs; brush over warm bread and sprinkle remaining parmesan before serving.
