  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 1 rib celery, diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cool water until fully cooled.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, black pepper, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir in the diced onion, celery, and bell pepper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooled macaroni with half of the dressing mixture; toss well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours.
