  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • Optional toppings: Shredded cabbage or lettuce, Diced green onions, Sesame seeds, Sriracha or spicy mayo

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry wonton wrappers until golden and crispy, about 20-30 seconds per side. Drain on paper towels.
  2. In another skillet, heat sesame oil and cook diced chicken with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper until fully cooked.
  3. Prepare teriyaki glaze by simmering soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small saucepan; thicken with cornstarch slurry.
  4. Toss the cooked chicken in the glaze until evenly coated.
  5. Assemble by filling wonton shells with glazed chicken and top with desired toppings.
