  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 4 French rolls or hoagie buns
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot. Sprinkle with au jus gravy mix and optional ranch dressing mix.
  2. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast, adding sliced onion around it.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until tender.
  4. Shred the beef using two forks after cooking.
