  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1½ teaspoons ground cumin
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 3 tablespoons grapeseed oil
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 cups low-sodium vegetable broth (or chicken broth)
  • 23 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix flour, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Heat grapeseed oil in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat until hot.
  3. Whisk the flour mixture into the oil and cook for one minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in tomato paste until thickened.
  5. Gradually add vegetable broth while whisking constantly; bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in apple cider vinegar to taste.
  7. Allow to cool before storing in an airtight glass container.
