  • 4 fully cooked chicken or turkey sausages (sliced into circles 1/4 inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 small head of cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and sauté, flipping frequently for 1 to 2 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until golden.
  3. Add shredded cabbage, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir well and cook for about 10 minutes until cabbage is nearly tender.
  4. Return the sausage to the pan, stir to combine, and cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until warmed through.
