  • 12 ounces salsa verde
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 slices pepper Jack cheese
  • Fresh cilantro (optional)
  • Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by mixing salsa verde, olive oil, lime juice, cumin, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Add thin-sliced chicken breasts to the marinade and toss until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
