  • Cooking spray or oil
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 12 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F and pat the chicken wings dry.
  2. In a large bowl, combine potato starch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Toss the wings until coated evenly.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with oil. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the sheet.
  4. Lower the oven temperature to 425°F and bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through while spraying with more oil for extra crispiness.
  5. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, butter, salt, and black pepper. Stir until slightly thickened.
  6. Once the wings are crispy, toss them in the honey lemon pepper sauce before serving.
