  • 1 12-count package Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (sliced in half)
  • 1 lb. turkey breast (thinly sliced and divided)
  • 12 slices white sharp cheddar cheese
  • 12 tomato slices (about 1/4-inch thick)
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • Kosher salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • dash nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Place the bottom halves of the Hawaiian Sweet Rolls in the dish.
  3. Layer half of the turkey, followed by six slices of cheddar cheese, crispy bacon pieces, and tomato slices.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, stir in flour until smooth, then gradually whisk in milk until thickened. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  5. Pour the sauce evenly over the assembled sliders.
  6. Top with shredded cheese and brush with a mixture of melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
