  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 16 ounces cabbage
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 medium diced onion
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 5 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook 1 pound of ground turkey over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Add 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 diced onion, and 1 cup of chopped carrots; sauté for 3–4 minutes until soft.
  3. Pour in 5 cups of chicken broth and add 16 ounces of chopped cabbage along with 2 tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos), 1/2 tsp salt, pepper to taste, and 1 1/2 tsp ginger.
  4. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Allow the soup to simmer for about 15 minutes until flavors meld.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with 2 tbsp chopped green onions.
