  • 6 plain brioche buns
  • 350 g cream cheese
  • 3.5 Tbsp white sugar
  • 70 g butter (divided)
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1.5 Tbsp milk
  • 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 egg (beaten)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese with 3.5 tablespoons of sugar until smooth and transfer to a piping bag.
  2. Sauté minced garlic in melted butter over medium-low heat until fragrant, then set aside.
  3. Combine the remaining melted butter, sautéed garlic, milk, mayonnaise, sugar, parsley, and egg in a bowl to create the garlic butter custard.
  4. Slice the brioche buns into six sections without cutting all the way through.
  5. Pipe the cream cheese filling into each section of the buns.
  6. Dip each filled bun into the garlic butter sauce mixture and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Add an extra layer of cream cheese filling on top of each bun for added richness.
  8. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for approximately 10 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
