  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 lb crispy cooked turkey bacon
  • 12 slider buns
  • Optional: arugula or baby spinach

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into slider-sized pieces. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Set aside.
  3. For the glaze, combine maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard in a saucepan and simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Cook turkey bacon until crispy and crumble it into pieces.
  5. Assemble sliders by spreading glaze on the buns, adding chicken and turkey bacon, then topping with greens if desired.
