  • 2 1/2 pounds boneless beef chops
  • 1 pineapple slice for each beef chop
  • 1/3 cup coconut aminos (or low-sodium soy sauce)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons arrowroot starch
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together coconut aminos, minced garlic, rice vinegar, water, honey, ground ginger, and arrowroot starch.
  2. Marinate the beef chops in half of the sauce for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat with one tablespoon of oil.
  4. Sear the marinated beef chops for about 6-7 minutes per side until cooked to your liking.
  5. In the last few minutes of cooking, place a pineapple slice on each chop to caramelize.
  6. Serve hot with additional teriyaki sauce if desired.
