  • 12 Hawaiian rolls (or rye bread slider buns)
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 3/4 lb thinly sliced pastrami or roast beef
  • 1 cup drained sauerkraut
  • 9 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried minced onion
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Drain and press excess moisture from the sauerkraut.
  2. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half and spread Thousand Island dressing on both sides. Layer the bottom halves with pastrami, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese before replacing the top buns.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with Worcestershire sauce, minced onion, and crushed garlic. Brush this mixture over the tops of the sliders.
