  • 12 slider buns (potato)
  • 12 slices smoked cheddar cheese
  • 24 slices thinly sliced roast beef
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoons poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on the baking sheet.
  3. Cut each slice of smoked cheddar into quarters and place two pieces on each bun bottom.
  4. Toss thinly sliced roast beef in BBQ sauce until fully coated.
  5. Assemble sliders by placing two pieces of coated beef on each bun bottom, then adding two more cheese slices on top.
  6. Spread about 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise on each top bun and place them over the assembled sliders.
  7. In a bowl, mix melted butter with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and poppy seeds.
  8. Brush the butter mixture generously over all sides of each bun.
  9. Let sit for 5–10 minutes to absorb flavors before covering with foil and baking for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted.
  10. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes until buns are toasted.
