  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic or garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned.
  3. Layer the frozen tater tots in the greased baking dish. Add the cooked sausage and 1½ cups of cheese; stir gently to combine.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour this mixture over the tater tots.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes until golden brown and set. Let cool slightly before serving.
