  • 12 Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls
  • 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 8 ounces thinly sliced Gouda cheese
  • 4 tablespoons garlic-herb butter
  • Optional: red onion
  • Optional: cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and grease a 9×13-inch sheet pan.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping them connected as a top and bottom slab.
  3. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated.
  4. Place the bottom slab of rolls in the pan. Layer half of the Gouda cheese on top, followed by the BBQ chicken mixture, optional onions, and cilantro. Top with remaining cheese.
  5. Melt the garlic-herb butter and brush it over the assembled sliders.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; then remove foil and bake for an additional 3–6 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve immediately for optimal freshness.
