  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayo or Greek yogurt
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cups shredded purple cabbage
  • 1 cup canned or frozen corn
  • 1 jalapeño (minced)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayo
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Corn tortillas
  • Diced or sliced avocado

Instructions

  1. Marinate the cod by whisking together lime juice, oil, and spices. Coat the fish and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the slaw by mixing mayo, lime juice, cilantro, honey, cabbage, corn, and jalapeño in a bowl.
  3. Make the sauce by combining sour cream (or Greek yogurt), mayo, lime juice, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), and salt in another bowl.
  4. Cook the cod using your preferred method: broil, bake, pan-fry, or grill until the fish flakes easily.
  5. Assemble tacos by filling warmed tortillas with cod, slaw, avocado slices, and drizzle with sauce.
