  • 1 pack Hawaiian rolls (12-count)
  • 8–10 cheddar cheese slices or preferred cheese
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Optional: 4 slices turkey bacon, beef bacon, or chicken bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them.
  3. Layer the cheese evenly over the bottom half of the sliced rolls.
  4. If using, add turkey bacon on top of the cheese.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  6. In a bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  7. Brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 12 minutes; then remove foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Slice into individual portions and serve warm.
