  • 1 large cabbage
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 10 oz turkey strips
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Clean the cabbage and slice it into 1.5-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, garlic salt, and paprika. Brush this mixture on one side of each cabbage steak.
  4. Place the seasoned cabbage steaks on a baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes until slightly softened.
  5. While roasting, cook turkey strips in a frying pan over medium heat for about 3 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Remove the cabbage from the oven, season with sea salt and pepper if desired, then add parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and crispy.
  8. Top each steak with turkey strips and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
