- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp parsley flakes
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 red onion (sliced into rounds)
- 5 tbsp olive oil (divided)
- 6 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
- ½ cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 ½ tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ranch seasoning, onion powder, parsley flakes, black pepper, and salt.
- In a baking dish, layer sliced red onions and drizzle with olive oil and some seasoning mix.
- Place chicken thighs on top of onions; season and drizzle remaining olive oil.
